The Valley Council of Governments is responsible for planning and implementing economic and development activities which have a regional impact on the Lower Naugatuck Valley in Southwestern Connecticut. These activities include creating a master plan for the entire region, administering state and federal grants, transportation planning, Brownfields redevelopment, census information and aiding in the overall economic development of the region.
