The governance of the VCOG is comprised of the Chief Elected Officials of the participating communities. An Executive Committee that consists of a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary/Treasurer is elected from among the members of the Council. In addition, a Regional Planning Commission is appointed by the Council to carry out the planning duties and responsibilities of the Council.
